Runtime Revolution Scripting Conferences
Runtime Revolution (www.runrev.com) announces the launch of fifteen free online conferences for Revolution Dreamcard, Studio and Enterprise starting on Saturday 30th April 2005. The conferences are free and open to all users of Runtime Revolution, even if they have yet to purchase a license. These exciting conferences are perfect for new users and those seeking to learn new skills or refresh their knowledge. They are also an ideal way for those exploring Revolution for the first time to find out more prior to purchasing. 
The conferences will be hosted by leading Revolution scripters including industry guru Dan Shafer, Klaus Major, Richard Gaskin, Ro Nagey, Jeanne De Voto and many others.
Learners will be joined by other users and staff from Runtime Revolution, with guest appearances from company CEO Kevin Miller. Conferences cover a range of topics from stack structure through to multimedia and debugging.The conferences are held fortnightly on Saturday (16:30 BST, 17:30 CET, 11:30 EST). A sample stack accompanies each conference and contains documentation, code samples and relevant information. The stacks will be available for download one week before each conference and learners are encouraged to download them prior to attending. Each conference will consist of a moderated session to guide people through the key learning objectives followed by an open session, during which all learners are encouraged to contribute or ask questions.
The first conference will take place on Saturday 30th April and will be hosted by Runtime Revolution's CEO Kevin Miller. I am a distributor for a greeting card company so I am a bit of a critic.However, Tricia was so kind and excited about her product both in the emails she sent me and on the phone. I allowed myself to review her product on a blank slate. She sent me a sample card with a 1 year membership card to "Send Out Cards". After a quick 15 minute "training" session with Tricia about how to send out cards, add people to my address book, and add additional stamps and cards to my membership card, I was ready to send out my first card.My son's Birthday is coming up so he was my obvious first choice.
